This course has been developed by industry experts to teach the fundamentals of understanding, developing and verifying system models using IBM Rational Statemate.

In addition to the notation and semantics, used with Statemate, delegates are provided with a comprehensive introduction to the features of the tool and will learn how to utilise it to capture system requirements and develop system architecture.

The theoretical content of this course is fully supported by detailed practical exercises, performed within Statemate, which will provide delegates with the skills and confidence to effective apply what they have learned on their own projects.

Content

  • What Model Based Design is
  • How to navigate the Statemate interface
  • How to capture requirements with use cases
  • How to model sequence diagrams
  • How to model system architecture with activity charts
  • How to capture system properties
  • How to model system behaviour with statecharts
  • How to perform static model checks
  • How to perform model simulation
  • How to manage Statemate projects
